Esther Salim is a Senior Tax Associate at Thelen Financial, where she works with individuals and small to mid-sized businesses to provide thoughtful tax planning, tax preparation, and responsive client support. She prepares individual and business tax returns, conducts tax research, and assists clients in resolving IRS and state tax matters with a practical, solutions-focused approach.

With more than seven years of experience in public accounting and bookkeeping, Esther has developed expertise across a broad range of tax engagements, including S corporations, C corporations, partnerships, trusts and estates, nonprofits, and individual income tax returns. Her background also includes payroll processing, financial statement preparation, bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and tax projections, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the financial needs of business owners.

Esther earned her Master of Science in Accounting from Western Sydney University and is an active member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA).

What Esther enjoys most about accounting is solving complex financial puzzles and transforming disorganized information into meaningful financial data that helps business owners make informed decisions. She is equally passionate about tax because it is constantly evolving, providing opportunities to learn new laws, strategies, and planning techniques that benefit her clients.
